Community Bike Collective
We are the change we want to see! Community Bike Collective is rooted in our community, equity and justice. Our programming is FREE to local youth, families and community members. We focus under-resourced and under-served youth in Santa Cruz County.
If kids don’t know how to ride, we teach them. If they need a helmet, we give them one. We implement life-changing programs for local youth and families. Many of our youth have never seen a redwood tree or been to the beach! We engage youth through learning in action with hands-on activities including bike skills, life skills, self-care, community-care, healthy living and local history. We connect youth to the joys of bike riding and foster a love of LIFE.
We connect youth to important community resources, encourage their involvement in advocacy, and provide opportunities for leadership development. We always acknowledge each youth for a quality that has a positive impact on the group and the community. Your support makes these impactful programs happen.
